The following contribution is from a loyal Temescal Canyon football mom:
The Temescal Canyon Titans didn't perform to the best of their ability Friday night at home, but they were able to compose themselves ... to say the least.
With a couple of well-placed field goals and some hard fought plays, the team made a comeback from being down at the half to take the lead and the win, 26-21, over the Norte Vista Braves.
The game was a back-and-forth, with the Titans and the Braves both turning over the ball.
The Titans were down 15-14 at the half and went to the locker room in search of a new plan of attack. The strategy worked because in the first Norte Vista series, the Titans held their own and shut down the visitors with well executed plays.
