VIDEO: LEUSD's Jeanie Corral Honored

The Temescal Canyon High School Performing Arts Center has been rededicated in the long-serving trustee's name.

Nearly 80 city leaders, friends, family, and Lake Elsinore Unified School District officials turned out at Temescal Canyon High School Thursday to celebrate an honor bestowed upon one of their own.

Lake Elsinore Unified School Board member Jeanie Corral has announced her retirement after 24 years of service, and Thursday night’s ceremony paid tribute to her by rededicating TCHS’s Performing Arts Center in her name, followed by performances from the TCHS Drama Department.

The Jeanie Corral Performing Arts Center dedication included words from LEUSD Superintendent Dr. Doug Kimberly, as well as comments from all the current school board members and former LEUSD Superintendent Dr. Frank Passarella.
