VIDEO: LEUSD's Jeanie Corral Honored

The Temescal Canyon High School Performing Arts Center has been rededicated in the long-serving trustee's name.

Nearly 80 city leaders, friends, family, and Lake Elsinore Unified School District officials turned out at Temescal Canyon High School Thursday to celebrate an honor bestowed upon one of their own.

Lake Elsinore Unified School Board member Jeanie Corral has announced her retirement after 24 years of service, and Thursday night’s ceremony paid tribute to her by rededicating TCHS’s Performing Arts Center in her name, followed by performances from the TCHS Drama Department.

The Jeanie Corral Performing Arts Center dedication included words from LEUSD Superintendent Dr. Doug Kimberly, as well as comments from all the current school board members and former LEUSD Superintendent Dr. Frank Passarella.

Corral also spoke. Click on the attached videos to hear she had to say about the honor that was presented to her Thursday night.

LER apparently you don't realize how stupid your comments make you look when this Lady is being honored by others.

@One Voice, as you can probably tell......LER lashes out at anyone that has an education above the third grade. I've encouraged him to go back to school to better himself, but he prefers to sit on the computer all day taking out all of his hatred on those that can't defend themselves. To each his own. LER is a lost cause.....}~(

Jeainie Corral has been a good and bad Board member over the years. She has skleletons and items she in fact should be recognized for. What I don't agree with is naming buildings after live Board Members. Without attacking sleazy Board Members whose names adorn some of the District buildings, I say this practice should cease.
