"I have always had to travel or race somewhere else during my career when the Grand Prix was scheduled," McGrath said. "I am really looking forward to riding the event for the first time this year. I am excited to see all the different classes compete during the weekend. It should be a great event for racers and fans!"

The Murrieta-raised moto legend will be racing a 1973 Honda Elsinore in the Prix's vintage class. It will be one of several classes in which McGrath will participate in order to "be a part of history," he said.

McGrath will be available throughout the weekend to sign autographs at his EMCE Sports trailer, where official Lake Elsinore Grand Prix souvenirs, newly released EMCEE merchandise and McGrath team gear will be available for purchase.

EMCE Sports, an event company directed by McGrath and produced by Lawrence Lewis, helps to promote the motocross industry locally in Southern California.

"All of us at EMCE Sports are very excited to be partnering with the team at the Storm Stadium," Lewis said. "The Elsinore Grand Prix is such an iconic piece of American racing. It's an honor to be involved and help improve on an already amazing competition. We hope to provide an experience for the fans that is truly unique and free to enjoy at the Stadium headquarters."

"Storm Events is extremely excited to partner with a motocross industry superstar like Jeremy and his team at EMCE Sports," said Bruce Kessman, Storm Events general manager. "Every year, we look to preserve the legacy of this great race - a large part of the city's history - while infusing it with updated elements, like this partnership with McGrath, to keep it relevant well into the future. From McQueen to McGrath, this is a race with great history and a bright future for all of its loyal riders."
