Elsinore, Temescal Canyon Basketball Players In Elite CIF Group
E.J. Twyman and Arica Nassar are selected to their respective All-CIF basketball teams.
Temescal Canyon’s two-sport star Arica Nassar and Elsinore High scorer E.J. Twyman have both been selected to their respective All-CIF basketball teams, the CIF-Southern Section announced.
Nassar, a senior, has verbally committed to Oregon State and will play volleyball and basketball. She led the Titans to the Sunbelt League title and the team advanced to the CIF 3A quarterfinals, losing to Bishop Amat.
Twyman, a junior, paced the Tigers to a Sunbelt League title and a No. 2 seeding in the highly-competitive CIF Division 2A playoffs. However, Elsinore was upended in the second round by traditional Inland Empire basketball power J.W. North.
