Lake Elsinore Motocross Crash Turns Fatal

A motocross rider has died of injuries he

Charles Wayt, 71, of Show Low Arizona was pronounced dead at Inland Valley Medical Center shortly after 11 p.m. Thursday, according to the Riverside County Coroner’s Office.

Wayt was riding at the park Thursday morning when he fell from his motorcycle and was struck by another rider, the coroner’s office reported.

The crash happened at 10:20 a.m. Thursday; Wayt was wearing a helmet, according to the coroner’s office.

The identity of the rider who struck Wayt was not released, however Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department reported the victim did sustain major injuries during the collision.
