Oakley Partners With Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park

Orange County-based Oakley, Inc. has announced it has inked a one-year sponsorship deal with the Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park.

“Innovation is synonymous with our icon, and the innovative approach of Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park makes this a perfect match,” said Oakley CEP Colin Baden in a released statement. “They have reinvented possibility for pros, enthusiasts and fans, and we are honored to be selected as their official and exclusive optics sponsor.”

News of the partnership was released Feb. 21. Baden said Oakley partnered with Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park to inspire racers and fans, and "to enlighten them on the breakthroughs in performance and protection it has achieved for the sport." Oakley will be allowed to display branding at sites including the facility tunnel and water truck. Additional promotional opportunities will be granted, and Oakley is planning promotional events and giveaways at the track. In addition, company representatives will serve as onsite booth workers, flaggers and operators. 

“Like our motocross goggle innovations, the partnership underscores our commitment to the sport and extends a proud legacy that began with Oakley’s very first product, a revolutionary bike grip that debuted decades ago. The facility will serve as a testing ground as we prepare to unleash new products on the MX world,” Baden continued.

Oakley is expected promote its brand extensively at the park, including in August when the Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park will host the 2nd annual Lucas Oil Pro Motocross National. Sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing, the event will be the season finale of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship. 

Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park extends over an area of 180 acres. It offers five motocross tracks and an off-road stadium truck track. The park markets itself to riders of all skill levels, and includes RV parking for overnight and weekend stays. Additional features include an area for concerts and special events, picnic areas and a water reservoir.
