After an almost no-hitter in his last outing, the Storm’s Mark Pope allowed just two runs on four hits in six and two-thirds innings, helping the league-leading pitching staff to another win and his sixth for the Storm.

In the fourth inning, Storm catcher Eddy Rodriguez also showed his stuff. He led off with a single to left and reached second when Everett Williams drew a walk to put two on and no outs for infielder Connor Powers. Powers singled to right allowing Rodriguez to score and tie the ballgame 1-1.
