Volcano Fire: Donation Drive Underway for Family Who Lost Home

Donations for the Snyder family, who lost their home and belongings Wednesday in the Volcano Fire, are being accepted at Murrieta fire stations.

Donations for the Snyder family in La Cresta are being accepted at Murrieta fire stations.

The family is in need of everything: clothing, shoes, etc., according to Kimberly Davidson, business development manager for the city of Murrieta.

"We are setting up drop locations at each one of our Murrieta Fire Stations...," Davidson said in an email.

Donations needed are women's shoes in a size 8 1/2 shoe, women's shirts in a size large, women's pants in a size 5, men's shoes in a size 10 1/2, men's shirts in size large, and men's pants in a size 34 waist.

Monetary donations are also needed and should be made to U.S. Bank, Davidson said. Message Brian Graybehl on Facebook for more information about donating funds.

Murrieta fire stations are located at 41825 Juniper Street, 40600 California Oaks Road, 39985 Whitewood Road, 28155 Baxter Road and 38391 Vineyard Parkway.
