Week Ahead In Lake Elsinore, Wildomar: Career Opportunity, Truck Races, Parent Summit

Students ages 14 to 18 years old with a 2.5 GPA or better are candidates for the Elsinore Valley Fire Explorer Post. Students must live in the area between Temescal Valley and Wildomar in the Elsinore Valley to qualify. The Lake Elsinore Unified School District will hold its annual Parent Summit at the Ortega High School campus multi-purpose room on Oct. 26 from 8:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. The event is for parents of LEUSD students and preschoolers. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department will hold its prescription drug “Take-Back” day Oct. 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The program allows members of the public to drop off potentially dangerous, expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs for destruction at many sheriff’s stations throughout Riverside County, including the Lake Elsinore Sheriff's Station.
