Cathie Lou Parker
Longtime Glendora resident Cathie Lou Parker got the journalism bug on the Glendora High School yearbook staff and continued reporting and editing at Citrus College and Cal State Fullerton, where she earned both a BA and MA in journalism. She worked in the Features Section and became  Entertainment Editor of the San Gabriel Valley Tribune, Pasadena Star-News and Whittier Daily News. She also served as Copy Chief of Tribune Media Services, formerly the Los Angeles Times International Syndicate.
Cathie loves music, and is learning how to play the dulcimer (can play her favorite song of all time, In My Life by The Beatles). Arts are a passion for Cathie, whether performing or visual, and you'll find her many times creating pastel chalk drawings at Classic Coffee in the Glendora Village. Feel free to send story ideas or comments to Cathie  at clp_patch@yahoo.com.
