Alleged Indecent Exposure Caught On Lake Elsinore Store Video, Suspect Arrested

Lake Elsinore resident Allen Williams, 47, was arrested following the alleged incident and police believe he may have been involved in similar incidents in the area.

A Lake Elsinore man accused of walking into a store and exposing himself to the clerk has been arrested, police are reporting.

According to a news release from the Lake Elsinore Police Department, on Wednesday around 6:15 a.m. the man walked into a business in the 31700 block of Riverside Drive to buy a beverage. As he approached the clerk to pay for the item, he exposed himself, paid for the drink and left, according to police.

Police were called, but the man was not found. However, deputies did find a digital video recording of the incident at the store, according to the news release.

Then on Thursday, deputies on patrol were called to investigate an unrelated crime when they spotted the alleged indecent exposure suspect walking near Lincoln Street and Via Valdez.

“They detained the subject and initiated a follow-up investigation,” the news release stated.

The man was identified as Lake Elsinore resident Allen Williams, 47, and police believe he may have been involved in similar incidents in the Lake Elsinore area.

Williams was arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure and transported to Southwest Detention Center in French Valley.
