Lucas Oil Pro Motocross National Hits Lake Elsinore This Weekend

The 2nd annual Lucas Oil Pro Motocross National arrives at the Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park this weekend, with the sport’s top riders on tap.

The event features Round 12 of the competition that has been touring the country throughout the year. The event is scheduled Saturday, Aug. 24, and marks the season finale of the championship series. The action starts at 8:30 a.m. with practice rides; opening ceremonies are set for 12:10 p.m. 

Friday, Aug. 23 will include inspections.

The Red Bull-sponsored event is sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing, according to event organizers, and marks the second year in a row that Lake Elsinore is hosting the prestigious competition.

Looking for some pre-race action? Temecula Motorsports is hosting a Nationals autograph signing and pre-party, Aug. 23, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. There will be team appearances, a stunt show featuring Geoff Aaron, DJ, food, and giveaways.
