The benefit is outweighed by the infringement on civil liberties. We need no fault insurance toRead More ensure the public against uninsured motorist because being poor should not be a crime. A state grant to circumvent civil rights instead of proactive law enforcement utilizing police officers observing suspicious behavior seems like a loss for freedom in lieu of the fact only one drunk driver was apprehended.

One arrest? Somebody ought to tell the governor that the drunks here in Lake Elsinore are pros. TheyRead More know how to network and know where the checkpoints and will all the backstreets around here, they can easily avoid major intersections that are the likely locations of checkpoints. All that manpower would have been better spend just patrolling and catching drunk drivers the old fashioned way. Heck, one officer just driving up and down Grand probably could have shackled 20 drunk drivers during the same time and found loads of contraband in the cars to boot.

An excellent start to managing the flow of traffic. This is far more effective than slapping upRead More stoplights. Would like to have seen a little more advanced sign being as we live in a visually stimulated society. One that is steady green alternating with thank you at the or below the speed, yellow when speed is exceeded by small amount, say three mph, alternating with careful or, and a flashing red slow down when speed is exceeded. Hopefully the supervisor's office will keep the public informed as to the effectiveness of these signs, they are capable of data tracking?, releasing statistics as to number of times vs. total number of cars and time of day speed limits are exceeded would show people they are effective a majority of the time. Right turn lanes would help as would street sweeping the center turn lane on occasion, the shower of sand and rocks provided by the occasional idiot is a sight to behold.

It do suck Jack Mah Brutha! But I don't think nobody a THE TOP cares much---appears it is all aboutRead More advertising now. So when dem advertiser's get a Royal Buttfull as visits, and Postings diminish, doncha know another format will be tried---'Course the OLD FORMAT worked pretty good, but that won't be coming back, because...it worked pretty good. Just like Windows 95 was THE SHIATS, and everything since has been a downgrade--Welcome to America: The Land of The Profit, where "function" don't matter much none at all...

I so agree, other towns will string plastic banners across busy intersections to announce communityRead More events that are taking place in there towns. Our town does not post banners, signage or anything to make everyone aware, isn't this the job of the Chamber of Commerce to promote tourism????

I agree, I don't care for the new format. One good thing though, cyber stalkers like Shane and CarlRead More are having a tough go of it.
