Gray Skies, Rain, Forecast Throughout Sunday

Monday's weather is expected to clear, with mostly sunny skies forecast, according to the NWS.

A low-pressure system has moved over Southwest Riverside County today and will bring light rain through much of Sunday, forecasters are reporting.

According to the National Weather Service, the precipitation will last into tonight, with the total rainfall expected to be less than one-half inch.

Snowfall will lower to around 4,500 to 5,000 feet today, and down to 4,000 feet tonight, with two to three inches possible, the NWS is reporting.

Travelers are advised that gusty winds up to 45 mph will blow in the mountains and deserts, the NWS reported.

Sunday’s high temperature is expected to reach 57 degrees in Lake Elsinore, but conditions will warm early next week with daytime highs expected to reach 67 degrees by Tuesday as sunny skies return.
