Video: Royal Success For 'A Little Princess'

Christian Youth Theater Riverside debuted "A Little Princess" Thursday at Temescal Canyon High School in Lake Elsinore. The show runs through the weekend.

The Christian Youth Theater Riverside debuted its stage rendition of  "A Little Princess" Thursday to a full house at , and as the attached video shows there was no shortage of talent or enthusiasm.

The classic tale of a little girl and the enduring power of love came alive on stage and audience members from as far as Auburn, Calif., came to see the production.

Directed by Christian Youth Theater Riverside Artistic Director Jennifer Lloyd, the cast  is comprised of local young actors, ages 8-18.

While the play is about a little princess, the story transcends age. Dancing, singing and comedic one-liners are delivered flawlessly and a lot of imagination makes this an entertaining way to spend $10.

Open to the public, "A Little Princess" will run again Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., and Sunday at 2 p.m. All show times are at Temescal Canyon High School.
