Walgreens Pharmacist Discusses Medications

Michael Barnes, Register Pharmacist at the Walgreens Sun City Drug Store will discuss medications on Monday, March 12, at the monthly meeting of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association Southwest Riverside County Chapter.

            The discussion will include the following topics which should be of interest to most people:

            • Difference between brand name and generic medications.

            • Interaction between prescription medications with other drugs, including over the counter medications.

            • Interactions between prescription medications and various foods.

            • Supplements: What are they and when and how to use them.
