Explosions Continue To Rock Area

Camp Pendleton will continue firing high explosive munitions through Thursday.

The increased noise and ground-shaking booms coming from Camp Pendleton will last through Thursday, base officials are reporting.

Live fire exercises that began Sunday will continue today with training that includes firing artillery and mortar in the Whiskey/Zulu impact area located in the eastern portion of the base.

On Thursday, the firing of high explosive munitions will continue.
