Fight Against 'Gay History' And 'Obamacare' Subject Of Upcoming Meeting

The April 20 meeting could be Southwest Conservative Republicans' most important to date "for those whose civil liberties are threatened," according to Southwest Conservative Republicans leader Ted Wegener.

A local Conservative GOP organization is inviting the public to learn more about the war against “Obamacare” and teaching children about historically significant homosexuals.

The Southwest Conservative Republicans will meet April 20 at 6 p.m. at the Menifee Lakes Country Club. The meeting will feature guest speaker Pacific Justice Institute President Brad Dacus, who will give his perspective on what’s happening in the Supreme Court’s deliberations on the Affordable Care Act; Dacus will also update attendees on his organization’s efforts to squelch SB 48, the bill signed into law last year that requires California public schools to include prominent gay people and gay rights' milestones in lessons.

A meeting notice from Southwest Conservative Republicans leader Ted Wegener said Dacus is well versed on the issues.

“You already know that Obama has declared war on the U.S. Supreme Court and the Constitution. He seeks to eliminate the concept of separation of powers. And why is he doing it? Because he is going to lose. Only a few people in the nation can explain Obamacare and we are honored to have him attend the next Southwest Conservative Republicans meeting,” Wegener said.

The meeting notice continued, “You may not know that next year your child or grandchild could be reading from a textbook that explains what the great homosexual heroes in America have done to make our nation great. They may even come home and ask Mommy and Daddy what a homosexual is. Or he may ask you what a transgender, gay or lesbian is. Perhaps he may come home to tell you what they are. It is the law.”

4/14 UPDATE: In addition to guest speaker Brad Dacus of the Pacific Justice Institute, during the April 20 meeting guest speaker Lou Reyes of Inland Empire Oath Keepers will also address the audience. Reyes "will be informing us about Oath Keepers and their mission to defend and support the Constitution of the United States. This makes two great speakers who are fighting for our Constitution against its enemies," said Southwest Conservative Republicans leader Ted Wegener.
