How much money did the annual Original Christmas Tree Lane in Lake Elsinore raise this past season?
According to organizer Glenn Copple, the 13th annual event held at the Lake Elsinore Outlets sold a whopping $13,580 in raffle tickets!
This past season's Original Christmas Tree Lane saw more than a dozen holiday trees at the mall each outfitted with a pile of gifts that were raffled off to the community. Raffle ticket proceeds benefitted local causes that support area youth, according to organizers.
Copple provided a break down on how the $13,580 was distributed this year:

Student of the Year sponsored by the Lake Elsinore Valley and Wildomar chambers of commerce--$2,275
Boy Scouts Troop #430--$1,000
Marilyn DeJong Memorial Scholarships--$1,000
According to Copple, the balance of funds -- $964 -- is being held for the start up of the 2012 event.
Over its history, the Original Christmas Tree Lane has generated and donated more than $184,000 to organizations that support local youth, according to Copple.
