241 Tract Homes Being Considered For Wildomar's West Side

C.V. Communities Inc. is the applicant on the projects.

Separate proposals to build tract homes west of the 15 Freeway in Wildomar are up for discussion Aug. 7 during the city’s regularly scheduled planning commission meeting.

First on the 7 p.m. agenda, the commissioners will consider whether they should recommend city council approve development agreements for 157 single-family homes to be built off Palomar Street at McVicar Street.

The neighborhood currently features large lots and ranch-style homes. According to city documents, two tentative tract maps for the area permit construction of tract homes. The maps were approved by the county prior to the city’s incorporation, according to city documents. Further, the city contends an Environmental Impact Report is not required on the project.

On July 23, the city’s planning department sent out a mailer advising residents who live near the proposed development of the Aug. 7 meeting, according to city documents.

The applicant on the project is C.V. Communities Inc.

Second on the Aug. 7 agenda, Wildomar commissioners will consider whether to recommend that city council approve a development agreement for 84 single-family homes to be built off Hidden Springs Road, between Clinton Keith and Catt roads.

The proposal is similar to the Palomar Street application: A tentative tract map permits construction of tract homes, the map was approved by the county prior to the city’s incorporation, an Environmental Impact Report is not required on the project, and a mailer was sent out to nearby residents, the city contends in its documents.

C.V. Communities Inc. is also the project applicant.

The Aug. 7 meeting is open to the public. The meeting is located at Wildomar City Hall, 23873 Clinton Keith Rd., Suite 201.
