If you're thinking about getting a haircut in the Lake Elsinore area and you go to a certain salon on Saturday, you can also help out a good cause.
On March 15, Anasa Hair Studio Spa of Lake Elsinore will donate all proceeds made between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. to an organization called Childhelp, which helps victims of child abuse and neglect.
Salon owner Brandi Walmsley tells Patch that she's doing this "as a way to give back to a cause" she believes in.
She's titled the event "celebrate and donate" because it's also the two-year anniversary of her local business.
"Several fun activities are planned for March 15, including a silent auction, discounted services (most up to 50% off), raffle, and music," she said. "Food and drink will also be available at the event. "
