Volunteers Needed For Composting Program

Volunteers are needed for staffing Saturday morning workshops, classroom presentations, and community group presentations.

The Riverside County Waste Management Department is seeking volunteers to help with the Riverside County Backyard Composting Program.  

Volunteer "Master Composters" will attend a training course for four Saturdays, and will then donate 40 hours back to the program. 

Volunteers are needed for staffing Saturday morning workshops, classroom presentations, and community group presentations.

The training class will be on Saturdays, from 7:30 a.m. to 2:15 p.m., starting August 6 through August 27, 2011. 

Books and study materials will be provided. Limited seating available.
