Woman Rescued After Plummeting In Cleveland National Forest

The accident was reported just before 7 a.m. on Skyline Drive, near Burrero Way, according to Cal Fire officials.

A woman who fell 15 feet over the side of the Rope Trail in Corona was hoisted out of the Cleveland National Forest and taken to a local hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.

Firefighters hiked down into the trail and the woman was hoisted out by Copter 301; she was placed into a waiting ambulance for transport to a hospital, Cal Fire/Riverside County fire information officer Melody Hendrickson reported. --Mirna Alfonso
