Aimee's Castle in Lake Elsinore has long been the subject of great interest and fascination due to its unique architecture and spiritual heritage.

A local church is set to host a Christmas party at Lake Elsinore’s historic Aimee’s Castle, and the public is invited.

“Christmas at the Castle” is scheduled Dec. 21 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. and features guided tours of the home, Christmas music, refreshments and a candlelight service that will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Tours will be offered in English and Spanish, and all are welcome, according to a news release from The Rock, which is hosting the free event and is part of the Foursquare church denomination founded by original castle owner and evangelist Aimee Semple McPherson.
