Three people were injured—one fatally—in a car crash Friday morning on Temescal Canyon Road east of Interstate 15.
There was one confirmed fatality, one patient with major injuries being transported to an area hospital and one patient with minor injuries, according to a report from Jody Hagemann of CAL FIRE/Riverside County.
Firefighter/paramedics with the City of Corona and Riverside County responded to the crash that was reported at 6:59 a.m. Friday, according to Hagemann's report.
The first arriving engine company reported two vehicles involved with two of three persons trapped, according to Hagemann.
Southbound lanes on Temescal Canyon Road were blocked as of 8:03 a.m., according to Hagemann.
As of 9:30 a.m., traffic on northbound Interstate 15 was slow approaching Temescal Canyon Road, Sigalert.com was showing.
