Bank Robber Sought By Police

A Hispanic man who is suspected in a bank heist Thursday is being sought by police.

The man, described by police to be in his 20s, about 5’8” tall, with brown hair and eyes, allegedly made away with an undisclosed amount of cash after passing a demand note to a teller at the Bank of America located at 26800 Cherry Hills Blvd. in Sun City.

The robber, who was caught on surveillance wearing a black baseball cap with a DC logo and an orange vest with yellow stripes, fled on foot then jumped into a gray pickup truck driven by an unknown male, according to Sgt. Victor Tejeda of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

The robbery was reported around 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
