UPDATED CITIZEN REPORT: Dog Goes Missing From Wildomar Crash

Lucy has been found!

2/28 UPDATE at 3:40 p.m.: Here is a happy email update from the Wildomar resident who has been searching the community for Lucy, the dog that reportedly went missing after her owner was involved in car crash on Bundy Canyon Road early Tuesday morning:

"Lucy is found! She was ejected from the vehicle and ran up into the county yard across the street on Bundy. She got up into the hills, but she is trained to come to a whistle.  ... The family went out there whistling and she finally came! She seems none the worse for wear, just a little sore."

The resident reported that the dog's owner is doing better than expected and is recovering from broken ribs and other injuries, but hopefully will be back with Lucy soon!
