UPDATED: Lanes Reopened on I-215 at Highway 74 After Crash

A sigalert was issued at 10:22 a.m. Monday for northbound Interstate 215 at Highway 74 in Perris.

A crash was blocking the left lane Monday morning of northbound Interstate 215 at Highway 74 in Perris, California Highway Patrol reported.

The wreck involving at least two vehicles was reported at 9:57 a.m. Monday, and by 10:22 a.m., a sigalert was issued, according to CHP’s Web page.

An ambulance crew and fire personnel responded and treated what were described as minor injuries.

Northbound drivers were slowed to a crawl at Ethanac Road, with traffic backed up from at least McCall Boulevard in Menifee.

Some motorists were reportedly using the right shoulder to get around the scene.

Tow trucks were reportedly en route if not already at the scene. --Maggie Avants
