Man Suffers Massive Trauma After Getting Hit By Car In Wildomar

“The driver of the vehicle was cooperative and did not display any objective symptoms of intoxication."

A Lake Elsinore man suffered “massive trauma” to both legs after being hit by a vehicle Wednesday night in Wildomar, police are reporting.

Ronald Daniels, 52, was transported to Inland Valley Medical Center where he underwent emergency surgery for his injuries after being struck at the intersection of Mission Trail and Mariposa around 9:45 p.m., the Wildomar Police Department reported in a news release.

“The driver of the vehicle was cooperative and did not display any objective symptoms of intoxication,” the news release stated.

Police are currently conducting an investigation regarding this collision. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Sergeant Cloutier or Deputy Williams at the Lake Elsinore Police Traffic Division at 951 245 3300.

This is the second time in weeks that there was a accident there. Its really dar in that area, maybe the city should consider street lights for mission trail?
