A parolee was arrested for his alleged connection to a carjacking in Perris, authorities said Wednesday.
Sheriff's deputies were first dispatched at 9:12 p.m. Tuesday to a location on Windward Court about shots fired. The deputies then received a second call about a carjacking in the 1400 block of Apple Creek Drive, Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Sam Morovich said.
Deputies later identified Adrian Victor Partida, 38, of Perris, as a suspect and arrested him at his home on Clearwater Drive, more than two miles from where the alleged carjacking happened.
