Corona police are asking for the public’s help in finding an
armed man accused of being involved in a theft at CardinaleWay Volkswagen.
Steen Thomas Parker, 42, of Corona is accused of being connected to the theft of two vehicles stolen from the dealership in the early morning of Sept. 13. He has alluded capture and police say he is in possession of a handgun and should be considered armed and dangerous.
On the day of the alleged theft, Corona Police were called to CardinaleWay Volkswagen at 2603 Wardlow Rd. in response to a commercial burglary.
“The suspects stole property and two vehicles from the
business,” according to a news release from the Corona Police Department.
The day following the alleged theft, Corona Police received information that a stolen vehicle was in the area of Mariposa Lane and Ventura Street in Corona.
“The stolen vehicle was located in the 1400 block of Mariposa Lane and identified as one of the vehicles stolen in the burglary,” according to the news release. “Witnesses at the scene stated that two males had exited the car and walked into the residence located at 1425 Mariposa Lane. A short time later, a female exited [the home] and drove away in a car, which was parked in the driveway.”
That woman lives at the home and has been identified as 41-year-old Tracy Parker, according to police. She was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence and being in possession of stolen property, according to the news release.
A search warrant was issued for the 1425 Mariposa Lane home and Corona Police found stolen property from the CardinaleWay Volkswagen burglary, the news release continued.
Police are advising that If you see Parker, call 911 and do
not attempt to approach him. Police are calling him “armed and dangerous.”
