Police Seek Information In Murder Investigation

Shortly after 9 a.m. Wednesday, deputies from the Southwest Station found the body of Bradley Capen, 53, inside his residence in the 44900 block of Los Caballos Road in unincorporated area near Temecula.

Police are seeking leads on information regarding a man found dead in his residence Wednesday.

Shortly after 9 a.m. Wednesday, deputies from the Southwest Station found the body of Bradley Capen, 53, inside his residence in the 44900 block of Los Caballos Road in unincorporated area near Temecula.

Deputies were called to the residence after a report of a possible assault with a deadly weapon, according to Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Brian Reno.

Once inside the residence, deputies found Capen’s body.

During the course of what police are calling a murder investigation, investigators developed information that led to the arrest of Capen’s nephew, Kyle Miller, 28, the sergeant said.

Miller was arrested Wednesday night in the Winchester area. He has been booked into the Southwest Detention Center on charges of 187(a) PC Murder, 211 PC Robbery, and 459 PC Burglary.

A cause of death has not been released by the coroner’s office.
