A sheriff's department search for a possible suicidal subject led deputies to a Wildomar neighborhood Wednesday afternoon, officials tell Patch.

Authorities began their search Wednesday morning, after getting a report of a someone who may harm themselves, according to Riverside County Sheriff's Spokesman Deputy Albert Martinez.

Around 1 p.m., that search was brought to the believed home of the person, in the area of Dorof Court and Canyon Drive in Wildomar, according to Martinez.

Witnesses on scene tell Patch the area is blocked off while deputies attempt to make contact with the individual.  Just before 2 p.m., deputies were seen entering the house.

One area resident tells Patch he was asked to get out of his house around 10:15 a.m.

"The police came... into the yard in the back, and he said, 'You know what, you need to leave the house right away because the guy is behind you... behind the house is a guy with a gun'... so I got out as fast as I could," Abraham Martinez said while watching the scene unfold.
