Semi Plows Into 15 Freeway Center Divide In Wildomar

A semi truck reportedly struck the center divide guardrail on the 15 Freeway in Wildomar, according to California Highway Patrol radio reports.

The crash was reported at 3:30 p.m. Thursday on the northbound 15 Freeway, just south of Baxter Road.

No serious injuries or other vehicles were reported in the crash.

A tractor-trailer is being used to tow the semi and there is damage to the guardrail, according to reports.

Freeway lanes remain open at press time.

Thursday afternoon’s crash follows reports of one earlier in the day in Corona at the El Cerrito Road exit that snarled northbound 15 morning commuter traffic through Lake Elsinore.

Both crashes are being investigated by the CHP.
