Wildomar Resident Collars Two Young Burglars

The juveniles broke into a Wildomar residence and tried to make off with cash, jewelry and medical marijuana.

A Wildomar resident came home to a surprise Thursday night: a burglary in progress.

It was sometime around 6:45 p.m. that the resident arrived home to find two juveniles inside. They had ransacked some of the rooms and were trying to make off with cash, jewelry and medical marijuana, according to a Wildomar Police Department report.

The break-in occurred in the 31900 block of Central Street.

The resident knew the kids, detained them, and then called 911; they did not try to run away or resist getting arrested, according to the report. Both were booked into Southwest Juvenile Hall for residential burglary.
