Wildomar Residents Busted In Lake Elsinore For Alleged Heroin, Meth Possession

A call to police regarding a domestic disturbance in Lake Elsinore ended up in the arrest of two Wildomar residents who are being held on suspicion of heroin and methamphetamine possession, as well as other crimes, police are reporting.

At around 12:34 a.m. Saturday, deputies responded to the call in the 32900 block of Riverside Drive.

“When deputies arrived at the residence, they observed a male adult loading personal items into a vehicle at the location,” according to Sgt. David Cardoza of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

The man was detained and during the course of the investigation he was found to be in possession of illegal drugs and related paraphernalia, the sergeant explained.

The vehicle was searched and inside there were plastic bags containing approximately 2 ounces of methamphetamine, and approximately 1 ounce of heroin, according to Cardoza.

While deputies were at the Lake Elsinore residence, they also found a stripped Suzuki motorcycle reported stolen out of Murrieta on March 31, 2013, the sergeant reported.

The man was identified as Wildomar resident Joseph Curran, 33. According to Cardoza, he was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine for sale, possession of heroin for sale, vehicle theft, possession of stolen property, possession of narcotic paraphernalia, and being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Also arrested was Wildomar resident Cara Kirkconnell, 25, believed to be the owner of the vehicle that allegedly contained illegal drugs. She is being held on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine, possession of heroin, committing a felony offense while out on bail, and being under the influence of a controlled substance, according to Cardoza.
