Corona Wants Temescal Valley; Supervisors Say No

The Riverside County Board of Supervisors has voted to oppose Corona's desire to incorporate nearly 16 square miles of Temescal Valley.

The Riverside County Board of Supervisors took an official stand Tuesday on Corona's desire to annex Temescal Valley and essentially become Lake Elsinore's next-door neighbor.

The board voted 4-0  to send Corona city leaders a letter expressing opposition to incorporating nearly 16 square miles of Temescal Valley into Corona city limits, The Press-Enterprise reported.

The Riverside Local Agency Formation Commission will hear Corona’s proposal on Sept. 26.
