Public Safety Advisory Commissioners Sought For Lake Elsinore

The following is a news release from the City of Lake Elsinore:

Have you ever wanted to serve on a City Commission? Well, now is the time. The City of Lake Elsinore has announced that we are accepting applications for consideration of Council appointment to the Public Safety Advisory Commission. There are three (3) four year (4-year) terms, each to commence on July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2017, up for consideration.

QUALIFICATIONS to be considered for appointment to the Public Safety Advisory Commission (LEMC Section 2.46.030) are:

(1) Must reside within the City of Lake Elsinore; or be an owner of a business that is established and currently licensed inside the City of Lake Elsinore.
(2) Members shall be subject to a routine background check to be administered by the Police Department.

PERSONS INTERESTED are required to complete an Application & Statement of Qualifications. The deadline to submit a completed Application is Tuesday, April 30, 2013 by 5:00 p.m. All completed Applications are to be filed with the City Clerk’s Office, located at City Hall, 130 S. Main Street, Lake Elsinore, CA 92530. Applications may be obtained at the City Clerk’s Office or by calling (951) 674-3124 ext. 262.
