Sub-Committee Formed To Find New Lake Elsinore City Manager

Council members Bob Magee and Daryl Hickman were appointed to the sub-committee.

In a 5-0 vote Tuesday night, the Lake Elsinore City Council agreed to extend the appointment of Pat Kilroy as interim city manager through April 24.

Kilroy, who has served the city as director of Parks and Recreation, was appointed to the interim post

As part of Tuesday’s vote, it was agreed that a sub-committee comprised of council members Bob Magee and Daryl Hickman will interview interim city manager candidates to replace Kilroy, who is scheduled to return to his director post.

Magee and Hickman are tapped to bring two or three possible interim city manager candidates forward for council members to consider during the April 24 regularly scheduled City Council meeting.

The sub-committee has also been tasked with identifying professional recruiting firms that could be hired to find a full-time permanent city manager.
