Two years ago the Tigers claimed the CIF Championship for the first time in the school’s history, and last year they advanced in the playoffs.

As for the blue team in Lake Elsinore, they’re hopeful their 21-3 win Nov. 9 at Palm Springs during the first round of the Southern Section playoffs was a sign of games to come.

Before last week’s victory, the Titans’ last playoff game was two seasons ago when they lost to a tough Serrano team, 14-0, in the first round.

TCHS fans are hoping for a return to a finish at least as good as the 2006 squad that nearly won it all, losing a close one to Temecula’s Chaparral, 24-19.

Titans’ football mom Carrie Trimble is ready for Friday’s important game. Her son Sean, a junior, is the TCHS quarterback.

“Our boys are making history and hoping we fill the stands to cheer [them] onto the semi finals!”
