Elsinore Middle School To Celebrate 100-Year Birthday

The school will celebrate its 100 years of education in Lake Elsinore Saturday, April 14, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.

4/9 UPDATE: LEUSD officials announced today that Elsinore Middle School will premiere a film documentary about the 100th anniversary of the school site during the April 14 event described below; the student production of the "Lake Ghost" movie will debut in May. Both films are being produced by the school’s video club. The story below has been updated.

Sweeping views of the lake and mountains, a grassy entrance dotted with age-old palm trees, and historic buildings give an Ivy League feel.

The school will celebrate its 100 years of education in Lake Elsinore Saturday, April 14, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., during its centennial celebration as a historic school site.

The commemoration will include a Vintage Car Show (see attached flyer for more information on participating in the show), and the premiere of a special movie about the school's 100 years produced by students in EMS's video club under the direction of advisor Art McMahon.
