Lake Elsinore Woman Selected To Spearhead Student Exchange Program

Students are aged 15-18, and are chosen on the basis of maturity, grades, and language ability.

The following is a news release:

Families in Lake Elsinore and the surrounding area now have the opportunity to become involved in a global cultural exchange. Lake Elsinore resident Courtney Faith Vera has been selected to run the local student exchange program for Aspect Foundation, a non-profit organization that sponsors students from nearly 50 countries.

Vera will help to match students with families, and serve as Aspect Foundation’s liaison with local schools and colleges. With Vera’s help, many families will make unforgettable memories when they a host an exchange student for a semester or school year.  Local teens can also participate by spending a semester or academic year studying abroad with Aspect Foundation’s Outbound Program.

Aspect Foundation students are aged 15-18, and are chosen on the basis of maturity, grades, and language ability. Host families provide room, board and a loving home environment for the students. In return, host families and exchange students learn about another culture firsthand, and gain a second family for life!
