Community tipsters were abuzz this week about a Lakeside High School teacher who allegedly appeared on the "Wheel of Fortune" television game show and scored a very nice prize.
Daniel Wilson is a science teacher and athletic trainer at Lake Elsinore's Lakeside High. He appeared on the television show Monday evening as part of the show's special "Teachers Week," according to tipsters who said the Lakeside educator lives in Murrieta.
Peter Hopping, Ed. D., who serves as Lakeside's proud principal, confirmed Wilson's TV appearance.
According to Dr. Hopping, the Sept. 30 show was actually filmed a few months ago.
So did Wilson win? Yep. A trip to Costa Rica.
