A huge thank you goes out to all the volunteers from the Committee to Elect Tim Sheridan to who walked, knocked on doors and talked with Democrats and other interested voters in Corona, Eastvale, Murrieta, Menifee and Temecula. During the month of February, nearly thirty people signed up and showed up, many walking multiple shifts, to gather signatures that would help defray the cost of placing Tim’s name on the ballot in the June primary. The money saved will be used to invest in the many and varied campaign costs.
Even more important than money saved, however, is that walkers delivered over 1,300 information sheets about the Sheridan campaign, collected 700 petition signatures, recruited roughly 50 new people interested in volunteering for the Sheridan campaign and/or attending Democratic club events, and registered a dozen new Democratic voters. After being checked by the County Registrar of Voters, the majority of the 700 signatures were approved.

In addition to the success of the walking crews, the Sheridan campaign collected more signatures at events and continues to make numerous personal contacts at ongoing meetings and gatherings.

Tim recently overwhelmingly won the California Democratic Party’s Pre-Endorsement Vote in California’s 42nd Congressional District, defeating two other candidates who sought the Party’s endorsement. The vote was 36-2-0.
