It’s time for the Animal Friends of the Valleys’ annual Save Our Strays Poker Run 2012. Last year 195 motorcycles joined together to raise funds for the shelter animals. This year on Saturday, September 29, 2012 from 8am to 3pm the event kicks off at Animal Friends of the Valleys with a private VIP tour for riders who’ve registered for the event and ends at VFW post 1508, across the street in Wildomar.
This annual ride raises funds for homeless animals during the #100KChallenge by having local riders participate in Poker Run by simply riding through the towns of Sun City, Rainbow with a quick stop at The Chopper Gallery in Temecula and land to enjoy the sounds of The Filthy Bastards while dining on tacos provided by Rough Riders Motorcycle Club. Auctions, raffles and prizes generate the donations needed for our adoptable animals in search of forever loving homes.
