After an exciting 55-40 first-round playoff victory last week over Palm Desert, coach Tony Peralta's Tigers hoped to reach deep into the CIF-SS Central Division championship hunt.
It wasn't meant to be as they finished their season 6-6 on a muddy, rain-soaked home field Friday night.
The Mustangs scored three touchdowns in the second quarter and added three more in the second half to advance to the semi-finals.
