Canyon Hills Community Park Grand Opening August 11

Canyon Hills Community Park will hold a grand opening celebration on Saturday, August 11.

The festivities will begin at 9 a.m. and last all day. There will be jumpers, a rock climbing wall, food vendors, games, mobile dog grooming, and a movie under the stars.

The new park, at 34360 Canyon Hills Road, Lake Elsinore, is within the master-planned community of Canyon Hills. According to the city, the park has two baseball fields, two combination soccer/football fields, a lighted basketball court, two children's playgrounds with specialized play equipment, restroom facilities, a concession building, shaded family and group picnic areas, and a separate grass areas for small and large dogs.

The 18-acre park also has the city’s first water spray/splash pad.
