Denise Woolsey has lived in Lake Elsinore for 28 years. She is a wife and mom of three adult children. Her son, Brandon,now 27, is Autistic. She is an active advocate for adults and children with disabilities (specifically those with Autism). She was involved and served on the PTSA for Lake Elsinore School District for many years. She also co-founded and served as President for the LEUSD Special Education Parent Advisory Committee for 10 years and the Resource Parent representative until her son exited out of public school. She was part of the CAC(Community Advisory Comminttee) for the Riverside Special Education Local Plan Area, as President and Public Information Officer. She has been awarded several recognitions throughout her 25 years of advocacy. She co-founded and is a member of the Inland Empire Autism Society. Denise now spends her time advocating for adults with Autism in the Southwest Riverside Area. She was appointed to the Board of Trustees of the Inland Regional Center in 2012. Inland Regional Center serves those with developmental disabilities in Riverside & San Bernardino Counties and is under contract with

the California Department of Developmental Services. Denise now serves on the Board of Trustees of the Inland Regional Center.
